20th Holiday A’Faire:

The 20th Holiday A’Faire was a great success this year.  The current total to date is $4,875 and we still have some items to sell and monies to come in.  We had over 30 people

help with this event and some of these

people are not members.  The Silent Auction raised $1,100.00, so again that was a great success.

Thank you to everyone that helped and I will start collecting for next year, after the holidays.

Judy Craig

Women’s Fellowship will meet on Wednesday, November 12th, at 2:00 pm.  We will be making Christmas Decorations for our annual outreach.  We invite you to attend and help with this project. The many people that receive this Christmas

Cheer are very much appreciative.

The Special Project continues with the collection of Toothpaste and Toothbrushes for our next meeting.  This is for Drawstring Backpacks to give to boys and girls that turn 18 and are required to find other housing arrangements, jobs, and hopefully attend college.  These bags will be given to Mary Graham hall and will be handed out each time a youth turns 18 years old.  This will give them some items to start out with.  A lot of the youth leave with only the clothes they are wearing.  Some have a few more items. We are going to put together 20 bags by December 1st. Items we are looking for are:

Large socks

Soap

Shampoo

Deodorant for girls and boys

Wash cloth

Hair Spray

Hair Gel for boys

Nutrition Bars

Small packet of Kleenex

Small note pad

Pencil or Pen

We will need these items by Monday, November 24th when we will be putting the bags together.

Any questions, please see Judy Craig or myself.
